Who we are
GrishaCast is a podcast about the Grishaverse by Leigh Bardugo, hosted by Eric and Terry. This website is at grishacast.com. You can reach us at info [at] grishacast [dot] com.
What we collect
This website has no accounts or comments. The only personal information we collect is what you choose to give us through the newsletter signup or the optional email box after the quiz: your email address, your name if you enter one, and, for the quiz box, which quiz result you got and, if you choose to share it, roughly where you are listening from (a city, state or country that you type in). We keep it in a private database at Cloudflare, use it only to send GrishaCast news, and never sell or share it. You can ask us to remove you at any time. We do not run advertising.
The quiz
The quiz runs in your web browser. Your answers are not sent to us. After you see your result, you can optionally ask to get news by email. Only if you click that button do we receive your email, name (if given), and quiz result.
If you email us, we get your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply. Messages sent to our addresses are forwarded to the people on our team.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and browser details to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Embedded content and links
Some pages include players or videos from other services, such as Acast, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube. When a page with an embed loads, that service may receive information about your visit and may set its own cookies. We do not control this. Please see their privacy policies:
We also link to our social media pages, podcast apps, and Patreon. Those sites have their own privacy practices.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we add things like analytics, we will update this page first.
